This isn’t the only study looking at the connection between coffee and fat burning.

Another research, published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, looked at the effects of caffeine on the metabolic rates of “normal weight” and “obese” people.

In the first trial, the researchers used eight mg per kg of body weight of caffeine and placebo, focusing only on “normal weight” individuals.

After having caffeine, the participants metabolic rate increased significantly during three hours.
