Alternatively, you can book a blood test via your doctor’s surgery – just make sure to tell your GP that you want your vitamin B12 levels checked.
The NHS added other symptoms you might experience if a vitamin B12 has lead to a deficiency. This includes:
- Lethargy
- Breathlessness
- Feeling faint
- Headaches
- Pale skin
- Noticeable heartbeats
- Tinnitus
- Loss of appetite
- Weight loss.
