Research Findings

Researchers found that, when the level of vitamin D in the blood was low, the disease tend to turn severe. Vitamin D levels were also found to be very high in who has less scaly patches in their body. Whereas, people with the most psoriasis-affected body surface area, had the lowest serum vitamin D levels.
