He has been found guilty of rape, aggravated child molestation, and child molestation in late February. However, the man from Mableton was already arrested in May 2018 after being accused of assaulting an 8-year-old starting in 2017.
Later, the victims’ mother confronted the investigator, claiming that Johnson had also assaulted her as a youngster.
Another of Johnson’s victims testified during his trial, claiming that she was raped as a child. Johnson was married to her mother when she was younger.
After the court hearing, Assistant District Attorney Alex Clark has promised that Johnson will “never be able to abuse another child again,”
In her sentencing impact statement, the victim’s mother stated, “This is the beginning of breaking generational curses for my family.”
Upon the hearings, the 66-year-old has been held without bond at the Cobb Jail.
