As identical twins, it’s hard to tell the “Property Brothers” stars Jonathan and Drew Scott apart, especially since they share the same clean-cut look. They both have similar neat ‘dos and not even one visible tattoo can help us determine which is the slightly older bro. In fact, adding to Jonathan’s wholesome image is his engagement to America’s sweetheart, “New Girl” star Zooey Deschanel. She, however, has no problem telling the two apart, even if their difference is that Drew likes to sport some scruffy facial hair. On “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Deschanel stated, “To me, they don’t look alike at all and their personalities are so different.” She added, “Even without the beard, they don’t look alike to me.”
Aside from some behind-the-scene scandals surrounding the “Property Brothers,” including a bar fight involving Jonathan, the HGTV stars’ boy-next-door persona remains dear to fans. That’s why we thought it would be fun to see what they would look like tatted up. The Property Brothers look edgier with tattoos
Jonathan and Drew Scott often wear t-shirts that show off their arms while they’re filming their renovation shows on HGTV and they’ve been looking pretty bare. With Static Media’s skillful editing, both brothers got an edgy upgrade — with Jonathan sporting a full sleeve with mandalas and a fiery dragon, and Drew rocking some geometric shapes on both arms. While these types of designs would typically take months to complete, the “Celebrity IOU” stars are now able to see what they look like tatted instantly and without hours of enduring pain. Both Jonathan and Drew have no visible tattoos in real life but the older twin faked one with a portrait of “Machete” actor Danny Trejo superimposed onto his stomach. “When you’re a fan…you’re a fan!” he joked on Instagram while sharing a video of himself revealing the fake tattoo to Trejo. “Funny!! That would have been really painful [if] it was real,” a fan commented. Personally, we think the sleeves are a much better choice.
