Losing weight can be very difficult for many people.

But now one influencer revealed how he managed to ditch sugar for 30 days – and the results are mind-blowing. The unnamed Brazilian went viral on social media this weekend after sharing the benefits of cutting out sugar from his diet.

Not only did his weight go from 98kg to 94kg (15st to 14st), he saw benefits with his skin too, with fewer pimples on his face. Also he noticed his mood improved as he felt more “patient and calm”.

His weight loss journey was shared on the @metropolesoficial account on TikTok which boasts 6.3million followers.

Even on X, formerly Twitter, it was posted on the @Metropolis account. The caption read: “4kg less and no pimples. Influencer says he went 30 days without sugar.

“He went viral on social media this weekend after posting a video in which he talked about the benefits of cutting sugar from food. The guy said he went 30 days without eating sweets.”

Meanwhile, discussing his results over on the TikTok video, he said: “30 days without eating sweets and these were the results.

“The first thing I noticed was my body, I lost 4kg (from 98kg to 94kg). The only sweet things I ate were fruits and Whey. I obviously went to the gym every day to work out.

“The second thing I noticed was my skin, no more pimples. I don’t use special skin care products, nothing. My skin improved on its own. The third thing I noticed was my mood, I was a lot more patient and calm, a clear psychological improvement.”

Speaking about the first few days, the influencer described them as “difficult”, but it soon got easier.

He continued: “After two weeks, you get used to it. Now after a whole month, I feel no need to eat sugar.

“I had many sugar cravings in the past, but not now, which is such a relief. Many people have sent me messages saying they are now inspired. I encourage you to try. It’s difficult, but results are worthy.”

The TikTok video has since racked up 7,100 likes and hundreds of comments. One said: “So easy.”

While another added: “Congratulations because without sweets I feel terrible.” Then a third commented: “Really changes everything.”
