A TikTok star opened up about her astonishing weight loss journey, shedding a whopping 4st by adopting a single exercise routine.

The social media influencer, known as @sophia.ashmore to her impressive 276,300 followers, regularly shares updates on her dramatic transformation.

Her quest for a healthier lifestyle kicked off in 2021 after she noticed a weight increase during the Covid lockdown.

She openly shared her dislike for physical activity and her struggle with unhealthy eating patterns, which spurred her decision to overhaul her life. The TikToker spoke candidly about feeling “incompetent and hopeless” as her self-esteem took a nosedive.

In a motivational video, she penned: “This is your daily reminder that you can achieve the perceived impossible through commitment and patience. Weight loss is a nuanced and complex process which requires time and patience.”

“Learn from your mistakes and carve out your own path to your dream body. It’s been two years for me!” Her post chronicles her progress from 2021 to 2023, proudly displaying her 4st weight loss.

The initial photo captures her at the beginning of her journey in August 2021 when she had “gained 4st”, but “hated exercise and wasn’t eating healthily”. She continued: “October 2021: Behind the smiles, I felt incompetent and hopeless… My self-esteem and confidence was non-existent.

“November 2021: I was disgusted in myself. I was killing myself and knew something had to change. August 2022: Over 9 months, I had lost weight drastically taking things to the extreme and forming unhealthy habits.”

In September 2022, the user had an epiphany that being “skinny” didn’t equate to happiness or solve her issues. Merely two months later, she found solace in running and walking, which led her to complete her first half marathon.

By 2023, she shifted her focus towards gym workouts, incorporating more weight training into her regime. She shared in her final slideshow update: “April 2023: I still have bad days but I feel so much more happier in myself. I’m not starving my body, I’m working on it.”

“This is your sign that self-growth takes time. Success is not about reaching the goal itself. It’s about who we become in the process.”

The post quickly went viral, amassing 6,300 likes and numerous shares. Comments flooded in with support, one user saying: “So proud of you beaut!” Another chimed in: “So proud, you look gorgeous girl!”

A third shared their personal resonance: “This is so beautiful. What an incredible journey, I myself have always been skinny and have put on so much weight due to lockdown, I want to be like you.”
