Wendy’s has revealed their full menu ahead of opening their first branch in Reading this week.
The US burger chain famous for its square patties will have four exclusive items on the British menu: – the Veggie Stack, Veggie Bites, Avocado Veggie Salad and Chicken Nuggets made from real chicken breast fillets.
While US stores sell chicken nuggets, they are made from a mix of breast and rib meat with water, sodium phosphates and salt.
Signature items that fans know from the US will also feature, including the Baconator®, Dave’s Single™, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Frosty® dessert in chocolate and vanilla.

Just like Wendy’s beef burgers, the Veggie Stack, made with black beans, grains, vegetables, herbs, and spices, will be in Wendy’s signature square style.
Customers at the Reading store will find a wide variety on the menu, from fresh British beef burgers, real whole breast chicken fillet sandwiches and salads made fresh every day – such as the Chicken Caesar or Apple Cranberry – and hearty sides including Baked Potatoes, Baconator fries and Wendy’s famous Chili con Carne.
Paul Hilder, SVP, UK & Canada Managing Director, told FEMAIL: ‘We can’t wait for the British public to try our menu when the doors open to our Reading restaurant on 2nd June.
‘The signature Wendy’s items that fans know and love are there, but you will also see a few new additions just for our British customers.
‘With Wendy’s you can guarantee you’ll get freshly prepared, high quality ingredients in everything we serve. Get ready for the best burger out there – square, fresh off the grill and made to order.’
