Are you curious to know what can happen to your body when you start eating healthy? We have compiled a list of changes that many experiences have undergone after a year of fresh and healthy meals.

Benefits of Eating Healthy

One Day After Starting

You will experience fewer food cravings throughout the day, and you will finally feel in control of your food choices. This allows you to choose healthy foods, rather than the less healthy ones you have chosen before, preparing you for long-term weight management and health success.

You will notice that hunger stabilizes. At first, you must have been hungry at 10 a.m. and at 3 p.m. However, now, you never bother with hunger pangs. This makes weight loss much easier.

You will experience a higher level of focus and mental clarity. Any symptoms of brain fog or low concentration should begin to disappear when you begin to clear as you start noticing you can think more clearly.

Your energy level is higher than ever before, making it easier to complete daily activities and even exercise (!). In fact, you can start waiting for your exercise sessions, because now you finally have the energy to do them.

You may begin to notice that your pants are feeling looser than before. Your body will remove all the excess water it was holding, thanks to high sodium intake, along with many pre-processed foods. This also comes with a slimmer mirror appearance. Your scale weight will be down anywhere between 2-5 pounds.

You are beginning to notice that your food cravings are decreasing. While you previously wanted pizza, burgers, and ice cream, now you are waiting for the healthy meals you have planned.

You will notice that your skin has a new shine. People can start commenting on how radiant you look and how you look younger.

You will now see a constant rate of weight loss (if using a lower calorie approach) in the range of ½ to 2 pounds per week, depending on your starting point.

Some of the pre-existing health problems you may be experiencing (migraines, joint pain, irritable bowel problems, etc.) may start to go away. For the first time in a long time, you really start to feel very healthy.

You will notice a decrease in your overall cholesterol levels if they increased before you started this approach.

Your blood pressure may also drop, lowering your risk of heart disease and stroke.

You should feel noticeably slimmer (if you are using a lower calorie weight loss approach) as you will have lost between 10 and 30 pounds.

Your bones will strengthen, reducing the risk of stress fractures and breaks. Although this is not something you can see, believe it is happening.

You will still enjoy all the benefits mentioned above as these benefits will persist as long as you continue to eat healthily.

You will reach the desired weight goal: a bodyweight in which you feel healthy, strong, and safe.

You may want to try new exercises/sports/activities. Finally, you feel like you’ve come to a place where you rely on physical activity that your body can do.

You are sure that you will not return to your old lifestyle at this time. You have seen many positive changes to give up everything for these foods.
