Ed Miliband was born in University College Hospital in Fitzrovia, London, to immigrant parents. Marion Kozak, a human rights activist and founding member of CND, is a Polish Jew who escaped the Holocaust thanks to Catholic Poles’ protection.
Ralph Miliband, his father, was a Belgian-born Polish Jewish Marxist academic whose father fled to England with him during WWII.
