PODCAST star and Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade Scott first met her husband at university.
The couple thrilled fans when they announced on October 4, 2024, that they were expecting a baby.
Evan and Hailie announced the baby news through one of her dad’s music videos for a song named Temporary.
So who is the father of Eminem’s first grandchild?
A career in economics
Although not much is known about Evan’s early life, we do know that he went to Michigan State University where Hailie also attended.
Evan graduated from the university with a BA in economics, before going on to work for software company Scout.
He quickly rose through the ranks of the business to become the company’s director of sale and product.
University romance
Hailie met Evan in 2016 at MSU, where she was studied psychology.
They got engaged in February 2023 and eventually tied the knot a year later at the beautiful Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, Michigan.
The couple keep much of their personal life private, but thrilled fans with their baby news.
Father-to-be
The couple announced on October 4, 2024, that they were expecting a baby through one of Eminem’s videos.
In the video for Temporary, Hailie hands her dad a football jersey that reads grandpa on the back.
She also handed Eminem a sonogram in the video, which feature lots of home videos of the family when they were younger.

Evan has a good relationship with his famous father-in-law.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Hailie’s family have welcomed Evan.
“They are a fantastic young couple who love cozy nights in rather than hard partying.
“Marshall was just hitting the big time at the age Evan is now, making headlines for his shocking lyrics and toxic relationship with Kim.
“Evan studied economics and is a keen golfer, there’s a huge difference.”
Evan even asked Slim Shady himself for his approval to marry Hailie.
He told Hailie on her Just a Little Shady podcast that he was nervous about asking the rap icon for his permission to marry his daughter.
He said: “It was over the holidays.
“I was just looking for an opportunity not to make it too obvious,
“I saw your dad go downstairs, and I’m like…’I gotta do it right now, or I’m not doing it today, and I’m gonna have to schedule another time.’
“So I just followed him downstairs, and, thankfully, he was just down there getting your cake and made it happen.
“It’s funny, so your sister really helped me out. She basically told me what for sure not to get.”
