Who is Craig Crouch?
A mother and stepfather have been charged with the murder of a baby in Derbyshire.
East Midlands Ambulance Service was called to report that 10-month-old Jacob Crouch was seriously ill at a house in Linton, near Swadlincote, at 7:15am. m. on December 30, 2020.
The boy was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Jacob’s mother, Gemma Barton, and her stepfather, Craig Crouch, were arrested on January 5, 2021 on suspicion of his murder. Both were rescued while investigations into the incident continued.

The pair were charged in the alleged murder of Jacob today (Wednesday, July 6).
Mrs Barton, 32, of Heanor and Mr Crouch, 38, of Linton have been taken into custody and are due to appear at South Derbyshire Magistrates Court later today.
