Nana Adu-Boafo, a herbalist in Oyibi in the Greater Accra Region, arrested him for giving his children to be killed.
A herbalist stated that the suspect had been handed over to the police. Evans Oppong is currently in its custody, assisting with investigations.
Evans Oppong Arrested: Charges
Evans Oppong was arrested for taking his 11-year-old daughter to a native priest in Oyibi Kom, Accra, for religious activities on Friday, June 3, 2022.
Evans is being arrested and detained while the investigation continues. The police will proceed with his charges after the investigation is completed.
The victim is currently in police custody while efforts are made to reconnect her with her mother and other family members.

Evans Oppong Offered His Daughter For Money Rituals
Evans Oppong traveled to Ghana with the intention of using his children in money rituals.
Nana Adu-Boafo, a herbalist in the Greater Accra Region, has arrested Evans Oppong, who brought his lovely little daughter to him for a money ritual.
The herbalist has shared a video online and in the video he has stated “The girl’s father came to see me, and he told me he just landed in the nation after residing overseas for a while.

He told me he is the father of 12 children, two of whom he is donating for money rituals. He offered me GHS 10,000 and other good surprises when the job is done.
Sadly, he had just picked up the daughter during school hours and promised to bring her new clothing.”
However, the herbalist has expressed regret for catching the girl’s face in the viral video.
On his Facebook account, he has written “I am very SORRY for showing the girl’s face in the video.
At that particular moment of recording, I was totally possessed because I was working before he arrived with his daughter and I couldn’t even control myself and tears.”
