                                      Flamur Beqiri Biography

Who is Flamur Beqiri ?

Anis Fouad Hemissi was part of a team of four killers sent from Sweden to assassinate Mr Beqiri as part of an escalating feud between two criminal networks.

Anis Fouad Hemissi, now 24, shot dead Swedish national Flamur Beqiri in an “organized hit” as part of escalating violence between two rival criminal networks, Southwark Crown Court heard.

A Swedish hitman who shot dead a father on his doorstep in front of his wife and son has been found guilty of his murder.

Beqiri, who was the brother of former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Misse Beqiri, was walking home hand in hand with his wife Debora Krasniqi and his two-year-old son when he was killed.

Hemissi is seen wearing a latex mask and knit cap in the days leading up to the shooting.

CCTV footage

Hemissi dressed up as a garbage collector while conducting a reconnaissance in the area.

CCTV footage played in court showed Beqiri being shot eight times outside his home in Battersea, southwest London, after Hemissi opened fire 10 times around 9 p.m.

Crime

Ms Krasniqi can be heard screaming and cradling her two-year-old son in the footage.

The couple’s three-month-old son and the children’s three grandparents were inside the property when the shooter fled the scene on foot immediately after the shooting.

Beqiri had been involved in “serious and organized crime,” including international drug trafficking, the jury was told.

Ms. Krasniqi denied the claims in court and said that she met her husband in the Netherlands, where he worked in the music business.

Hemissi wore costumes, including latex masks and a garbage collector’s suit, to reconnoitre the area in the days before the murder, a jury was told.

Arrested

He had flown to the UK four days before the shooting for the sole purpose of “executing” Mr Beqiri, the court heard.

Hemissi then flew to Copenhagen in Denmark in the early hours of Christmas Day after carrying out the shooting.

He was arrested at Copenhagen airport on January 20, 2020 before being extradited to the UK.

Hemissi denied being a professional hit man during his trial, telling jurors he was in London to “watch Netflix and relax” with a woman he met online.

He told the jury that he had never heard of Beqiri, that he had no reason to kill him and that he had not been paid to do so.

He said that he may have read about some of the “notorious criminals” involved in the Swedish gang conflict in the newspapers, but he did not know them and had never met or spoken to them.
