Who is Kirkpatrick Virgo ?
A 42-year-old man has been charged with murder after a train passenger was fatally injured at Reading station.
Kirkpatrick Virgo, of Whitby Road, Slough, Berkshire, will appear at Reading Crown Court tomorrow morning charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Charged
The charges relate to the death of 24-year-old Thomas Parker, who was attacked at the station on Saturday following an altercation on a train.
Mr. Parker’s family issued a tribute statement via police saying: “Tom was a very kind, considerate and loving son.” He devoted himself to his parents, siblings, grandparents, relatives and friends.
‘He was popular, loving, funny and hard-working; he was the life and soul of the party. His kindness and thoughtfulness touched the lives of all who knew him.

“We cannot adequately express how deeply saddened and shocked we are by his death.
“He will always be in our hearts and minds wherever we are.”
British Transport Police (BTP) officers were called to the scene at platform eight at 11:43 p.m. m., where they found the wounded man, who later died.
BTP asks witnesses to contact them by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 citing reference 665 of 07/30/22.
