Who is Lewis Haines ?
A scaffold accused of murdering 18-year-old Lily Sullivan in south-west Wales appeared in court.
Ms. Sullivan’s body was found in the Mill Pond area of Pembroke in the early morning hours of Friday, December 17.
Lewis Haines, 31, of Flemish Court, Lamphey, Pembrokeshire, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Friday.
He appeared by video conference from the prison dressed in a gray sweatshirt and spoke only to confirm his name.
Judge Paul Thomas QC set the trial date for June 13.
The Crown Prosecution Service ordered that an expert report be made on the cause of the adolescent’s death and Haines’ mental health.
Ms. Sullivan had been partying with friends just hours before her body was found at Mill Ponds near a castle in the historic town of Pembroke on December 17.
Despite resuscitation attempts at the scene, Lily was pronounced dead at 6:02 a.m., according to an investigation.
Prosecutor Michael Cray said in an earlier court hearing that Lily had been seen on CCTV at the Paddles nightclub and then walking around town, but she was later found dead.

He said she and Haines did not know each other prior to the night of the alleged murder, and told the court that Lily had been strangled.
Death
In tribute to her death, Lily’s family said, “Lily was a kind and loving daughter who will be deeply missed by all.”
“The family is very grateful to all of Lily’s friends for their support.”
Flowers were also placed in the mill pond next to the historic Pembroke Castle in memory of the supermarket worker, Miss Sullivan.
Family friend Byron John added: “Lily was a sweet and charming young woman, well spoken and very adult for her age.
She ‘she had her whole life ahead of her. She is terrible. Her mother Anna adored her, she was an only child and they were very close.
