Lorne is also an owner of the Orange County Breakers, a team which competes in the professional World Team Tennis league.

Abony appeared in an episode of the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated TV show called “Undercover Boss” in 2013, and then in early 2015 he founded Vested Finance, an education finance company. After some time, he formed two companies out of one, named them Vemo Education and Schoold, and at the moment serves as the non-executive chairman of both of them. In January 2016, Abony became the new CEO of Fast Forward Innovations, Ltd., the company which includes Leap Gaming, Pulse Flow, SatoshiPay, Factom, Intensity Therapeutics, Schoold, Yooya Media, and Vemo Education.
