Moreover, the actor starred in the series “Criminal Minds” in which he gave life to Luke Dolan, a SEAL of the Navy, then appeared in the film “Colombiana” (2011) portraying the special agent Robert Williams. In 2013, he appeared in the film “Captain Phillips” in which he played the commander of the SEAL crew, in charge of the rescue of Captain Richard Phillips (Tom Hanks). Afterwards, he joined the main cast of the series “Crisis” (2014) playing Koz, a mercenary hired by former CIA agent Francis Gibson (Dermot Mulroney), until the series cancellation the same year.

In addition, he has appeared as a guest star in the series “Covert Affairs” (2014) in which landed the role of Nathan Mueller, a former agent of the CIA, and as Max in the film “Sabotage” (2014). In 2015, the actor was seen in the film “Fifty Shades of Grey”, portraying Jason Taylor, the bodyguard of Christian Gray (Jamie Dornan), and in 2017, the actor starred in the same role in the sequel “Fifty Shades of Darker” by James Foley. Both films were blockbusters although received mostly negative reviews.
