Who is Mehjabeen Jabarullah ?
An angry delivery man has been sacked after he was caught red-handed throwing parcels at his van before turning on a customer’s £700 vacuum cleaner.
Mehjabeen Jabarullah, 32, was waiting for his Samsung vacuum cleaner to be delivered on June 12 at her home in Harrow, northwest London.
But he was horrified to see the DPD driver slam his package into his cart before dropping it and kicking it.
Caterer Mehjabeen says that he filed a complaint with both DPD and Samsung after the shocking incident.
Footage shows the uniform-clad driver
Footage shows the uniform-clad driver throwing several packages into the back of the parked van before violently throwing the cart afterward.
He can then be seen closing the truck door, and the next clip shows him angrily slamming the packages into the cart after they fall off.
The irate DPD employee can also be seen waving his arms in the air in frustration, then poisonously dragging the packages onto the property.
DPD said the driver’s behavior “falls far below” expectations and the driver will not deliver for them again.
Mehjabeen said: ‘I was cooking and I saw the DPD van pull up. When I checked, she said no one was home to pick it up. They took a picture of our front door and didn’t call us.
“They said they would be back the next day and that’s why I took the video. We were shocked.
‘She dropped my vacuum cleaner twice and hit it over and over in the cart, I was just throwing it in the cart.
‘The package that kicked in was our vacuum cleaner, I spent £721 on it.

“Throughout filming he’s on a call through a Bluetooth headset, so I’m not sure if it’s personal issues, I’m not sure.
The box fell behind him, I was looking at it from my window.
‘After I handed over my vacuum cleaner, he came back with other packages and was throwing them inside.
These are valuable packages. People have spent money on these things, they are packages from my neighbors.
“This is obviously what he is doing and will have done it before.”
Investigation
The mother initially tried to file a complaint with DPD, but was told that she needed to raise the issue with Samsung as it was not a “personal package”.
A DPD spokesman said: ‘Our driver’s behavior here falls far short of what we expected.
“We have conducted a full investigation and can confirm that the individual will not return to DPD.
“We take customer service and the behavior of our people very seriously and will be contacting the customer with a full apology.”
Samsung confirmed that they are investigating the incident.
