Who is Mohammed Rafaqit Kayani ?
Police have named and photographed a 24-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Slough earlier this week.
Mohammed Rafaqit Kayani was stabbed in the chest on Keel Drive, Berkshire, around lunchtime on Tuesday August 30.
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but could not be saved. Specially trained officers are supporting his family.
Arrested and Charged
On Tuesday, Mohammed Rafaqit Kayani, 24, was stabbed to death in Slough, Berkshire. Two men have been charged in connection with the murder investigation and another man remains in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
After being stabbed, Mr. Kayani was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but they could not save him. An autopsy concluded that his cause of death was a stab wound to the chest.
Two men have been charged in connection with the murder following an investigation by the Thames Valley Police Major Crimes Unit.
Hassan Al-Kubanji, 21, of London, was charged with one count of murder, perversion of the course of justice and possession of a blade/pointed item in a public place.
He was also charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug, namely cocaine and heroin.
He was sent to appear in Reading Magistrates Court today.
Miguel Parian John, 41, of Slough, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a class A controlled drug, namely cocaine and heroin, and one count of assisting a felon.
He was also charged yesterday with possession of a blade/pointed item in a public place.
He was taken into custody and appeared in Reading Magistrates Court yesterday, where he was remanded to appear in Reading Crown Court on October 3.

A Sadqah Jariyah, which means a continuous flow of charity, has been established on GoFundMe in memory of Mr. Kayani; it has so far raised over £6,000.
The fundraiser read: ‘On Tuesday, August 30, our beloved Rafaqit Kayani returned to the Lord of him. May Allah enlarge his grave and grant him abundance in the hereafter.
‘In light of this, our family has established this Sadqah Jariyah in memory of Rafaqit Kayani to elevate his deeds.
“The money raised will go to a community mosque that will act as Sadqah Jariya (unceasing charity) so that you can receive rewards continuously.”
Investigation
Lead investigating officer Chief Inspector Dejan Avramovic of the Major Crimes Unit said: “Our thoughts remain with Rafaqit’s family at what must be an extremely difficult time for them and would ask that their privacy be respected.”
“I would like to thank the public and the local community for their significant help and patience during the investigation thus far.
“I would still like to hear from anyone who may have information about this tragic incident and it hasn’t come forward yet.”
