Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara was born on 10 July 1972, in Barranquilla, Colombia, and is a popular American  actress and model, probably best known for her role in the show called “Modern Family” and also for appearing in such movies as “New Year’s Eve”, “Machete Kills”, “Four Brothers”, “Escape from Planet Earth” among others. During her acting career, Sofia has been nominated for and has also won various awards, including Screen Actors Guild , ALMA, Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Awards, and others.
