A DETECTIVE has been accused of rape and a series of s*xual offenses against minors.
DC Stephen Hardy, 45, has been charged with multiple s*x crimes.
A GMP detective has been charged with rape.
Arrested and Charged
The Greater Manchester Police Officer will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on August 10.
Hardy is charged with four counts of rape, five counts of s*xual assault and three counts of penetrative assault.

He is also charged with two counts of possession of extreme pornography, two counts of making/taking an indecent image of a child, and two counts of causing/encouraging a girl over the age of 13 to engage in s*xual activity.
The detective is also charged with one count of causing a girl over the age of 13 to engage in s*xual activity and one count of causing a boy to view an image of a s*xual act.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed that they first received a report relating to Hardy in June 2020.
He has been suspended from the force while the criminal process continues.
