THOMAS TUCHEL and Antonio Conte have been banned by the FA after colliding during Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
Following an FA investigation, the pair were found guilty of breaching FA Rule E3.

Tuchel and Conte received yellow cards midway through the second half after going head-to-head after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s goal.
Tensions flared again during the full-time handshake with Tuchel refusing to let go of Conte’s hand because the Italian wouldn’t look him in the eye, prompting referee Anthony Taylor to hand out red cards to both men.
Statement
A statement from the FA reads: “Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte have been charged with breaching the FA’s E3 rule, following the Premier League match between Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC on Sunday 14 August. of 2022.
“It is alleged that the behavior of both coaches was inappropriate after the end of the game.
“Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte have until Thursday, August 18, 2022 to give their respective answers.”

Charged
Tuchel could still face further charges with the FA investigating the German’s post-match comments, as he claimed “perhaps it would be better” if Taylor did not referee Chelsea again, with the Blues boss outraged that the two goals from the Spurs held on.
Hojbjerg scored despite the Blues appealing that Rodrigo Bentancur had fouled Kai Havertz AND Richarlison was offside.
And in stoppage time, Harry Kane equalized after Taylor watched from a few meters away as Cristian Romero tackled Marc Cucurella by the hair.
Tuchel said: “I can’t understand how the first goal isn’t offside and I can’t understand since when players can pull other people’s hair and stay on the pitch and attack for the last corner.”
The German then hinted that he believes it is unfair to be excluded from the touchline while referee Taylor escapes punishment.
And he added: “Very good! I can’t train, but the referee can whistle the next game.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea fans have also criticized Taylor for his performance and even created a petition to have him banned from refereeing future Blues matches, which already has more than 125,000 signatures.
