Anne-Marie Ready & Jasmine Ready Victims
Ottawa police have named the victims, 50-year-old Anne-Marie Ready, a trade commissioner at Global Affairs, and her 15-year-old daughter, Jasmine Ready. She finished Grade 10 at the French Catholic high school Franco-Cite, according to her school board.
Catherine Ready, the family’s 19-year-old eldest daughter, both the stabbing and being shot at by police, managed to live. According to the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est, she had graduated from Franco-Cite the previous year.
Graves had previously expressed romantic interest in one of the daughters, according to his relatives, who advised him to stop communicating with her, according to CBC.
