Oleg Sviridov, 32, died of stab wounds after a fight with father Vyacheslav ‘Slava’ Matrosov, 35, who secretly buried his body in the unmarked grave.
Investigators concluded that Sviridov took his own life during the fight in the woods.

Matrosov, a former rocket engine factory worker, could have been jailed for 15 years if he had been charged with murder.
The locals of the Pribrezhnoye village raised money for the initial legal fees from him.
A petition signed by 2,500 people also demanded his full acquittal.
They supported him for “saving our children by ridding us of a child s*x offender.”

Sources close to the case said detailed forensic evidence showed that Matrosov had not stabbed Sviridov in a forest where the dead man’s body was later found in the makeshift grave.
There are claims that Sviridov was given an ultimatum to go to the police and confess to s*xually abusing the girl or face the wrath of her father.
A relative said Sviridov was seen brutally beaten the day he disappeared in September 2021, more than a week before his body was found in the makeshift grave near the town of Vintai.
According to reports, Sviridov is feared to have abused two other boys in the village.
“We were all very sad and upset after hearing the verdict in court,” said Oksana Kazakova, 43, a friend of the Matrosov family and ex-girlfriend of Sviridov, whose daughter was also allegedly abused.
“Everyone expected Slava to get a suspended sentence, but she got 18 months. We were shocked.
“Of course, we understand that she could have received a much longer sentence.
“And 18 months is not a long time. We really hope she gets a presidential pardon by the end of the year.
“That would be a great blessing to all of her friends and family.”
