Cause of Death

The University did not disclose the cause of death.

A product of Forest High School in Mississippi, Anderson excelled at JSU, where he played cornerback for the Tigers for four seasons.

He was a big part of the Tigers’ 1996 Southwest Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championship win, as well as their SWAC Eastern Division title in 1999.

He was inducted into the JSU Sports Hall of Fame.
