Who was Roberta Drury ?
One day after the mass shooting at Tops Markets on Buffalo’s East Side, we began to learn more about the victims of this tragedy.
Roberta Drury’s brother, 32, confirmed to News 4 that his sister was killed in Saturday’s shooting.
Drury was adopted and lived with his family in Buffalo. His brother said they hung out at the Tops on Jefferson Avenue.

He was recently helping his brother recover from a bone marrow transplant.
“We would like to personally thank the security guards’ family,” said Drury’s brother, Christopher Moyer.
Roberta Drury is survived by two brothers, a sister, her mother, and her father.

Her funeral will be held in Syracuse.
Suspect
The suspect, Payton Gendron, 18, of Conklin, New York, is charged with one count of first-degree murder. He was arraigned Saturday night in Buffalo City Court. He is being held without bail.
Erie County District Attorney John Flynn Flynn says his office has evidence that could lead to a terrorism charge.
Family
A family member tells NewsChannel 9’s sister station, WIVB, that 32-year-old Roberta Drury was inside the Tops store on Jefferson Avenue on Saturday afternoon when a gunman opened fire, killing ten people and wounding three others.
