Who was Sayaka Kanda ?
The Japanese actress who played Anna in the dubbed version of ‘Frozen’ in Japan died after falling from her hotel room.
Sayaka Kanda, 35, was found in the outdoor area of the 14th floor of the 22-story hotel where she was staying at 9:40 p.m. on December 18.
She was taken to the hospital where doctors declared her dead, according to local media reports.
Kanda, who played Princess Anna in the Japanese version of Walt Disney’s hit 2013 animated film ‘Frozen’, was the daughter of Japanese actor Masaki Kanda, 70, and singer Seiko Matsuda, 59.
Ms. Kanda did not appear for a performance in the musical ‘My Fair Lady’ at a theater in Sapporo, the capital of the mountainous island of Hokkaido in northern Japan, on Saturday afternoon.
