Who was Traci Braxton?
Traci Renee Braxton was an American singer, reality television personality who was born on April 2, 1971 and died on March 12, 2022.
Braxton’s debut solo album Crash & Burn was released in October 2014, preceded by the single “Last Call”. “Last Call” peaked at number 16 on the US Adult R&B chart. In April 2018, she released the single “Broken Things” with her sisters Toni, Towanda and Trina.
In August 2018, Traci Braxton released the song “Lifeline” as the official lead single from her second album On Earth, which was released later that month. Braxton was also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
Braxton reunited with her sisters for WE tv’s reality show Braxton Family Values in 2011. The first season was the #1 reality show on WE tv, with the network ordering a 13-episode second season of the show after the third episode. In 2013, Braxton landed her own radio show called The Traci Braxton Show on BLIS.F.M. radio.
Parallel to her career as a singer, she acted in movies like Sinners Wanted (2018), All In (2019) and The Christmas Lottery (2020).

Early life
He was born in Severn, Maryland to his father, Michael Conrad Braxton Sr., was a Methodist clergyman and power company worker, and his mother, Evelyn Jackson, a native of South Carolina, was an opera singer and cosmetologist, as well as a pastor. Braxton’s maternal grandfather was also a pastor.
Braxton has an older brother, Michael Jr., (54) and four sisters, Toni (55), Towanda (49), Trina (48), and Tamar (45). Braxton and his siblings grew up in a strict religious home, and Braxton’s first acting experience was singing in his church choir.
Death of Traci Braxton
Traci Braxton died on March 12, 2022, at the age of 50. She had been suffering from esophageal cancer for at least a year before her death.
