Who was Vincent Cohran ?
American music star Slim 400 died at the age of 33.
The rapper, whose real name is Vincent Cohran, was shot and killed in Inglewood, California, on Wednesday night, TMZ reports.
The US media reports that it is unclear what caused the shooting and how many suspects were involved.
On Thursday morning, Slim 400’s friend, Mud Dolla Mayor, took to social media to plead with the musician to “get on with it.”
“Don’t try to listen to the B’s I listen to or pray @ slim400blk,” he wrote alongside a snapshot of singer Piru.
Slim, who was born in Germany and later moved to California as a child, had a brush with death in 2019 when he was shot 10 times in Los Angeles.
At the time he claimed that he was ambushed in the attack while visiting his family in Compton.

A month after that shooting, he sat down with a Los Angeles radio station and detailed his experiences.

“I feel like when you intended to be here and God has a plan for you, there is no way to stop it,” he said at the time. “I hit the ground thinking it was over,” he said.
The up-and-coming star continued, “My family went out, kept me alive, spoke to me, dragged me into the house while they were still shooting … My family, I love her to death just for saving me. I’m blessed just being here because I could have dead at that very moment. ”
