Since his professional debut at the Travelers Championship, Viktor has won several times on PGA and European Tours. He won the 2020 Puerto Rico Open, becoming the first Norwegian to win on the PGA Tour – the share of the purse was $540,000.

His triumph at the 2021 BMW International Open made him the first from his country to win on the European Tour. Then, he won $1.296 million at the 2020 Mayakoba Golf Classic. Likewise, his European win was €229,650 (around $250 thousand).

In the DP World Tour Championship, Viktor secured the third spot and the prize amount of $432,500. And at WGC Championship in The Concession, he won another $783,333 as he placed second.

Between the 2019 U.S. Open and the 2019 Open Championship, he played four PGA Tour events and grabbed $380,435 worth of prize money.

In addition to his wins, Viktor has also made some amount with sponsorship deals. In 2019, he signed one with Scandinavian clothing brand J.Lindeberg.

The same year, he made another multi-million dollar equipment deal with Ping. As per the contract, he needs to play a minimum of 11 Ping clubs, including a driver and putter, wear headwear with a Ping logo, and carry a Ping Tour staff bag. 

Similarly, Viktor seems to have partnerships with Cisco, Mastercard, Lexus, Swiss watchmakers Audemars Piguet, and golf cart manufacturer E-Z-GO. 

Additionally, he is the global ambassador for the logistic service provider, Slync.io.

According to PGA Tour’s official website, Viktor’s career earnings amount to $11,512,338.

Viktor Hovland doesn’t seem to have a wife.

He hasn’t disclosed his marital status to the general public. Moreover, he doesn’t speak much about his love life on social media.

Nonetheless, we know a few things about his family. His parents, Galina and Harald Hovland, welcomed him to this world on 18 September 1997 in Oslo, Norway.

According to his bio on PGA Tour, his father got involved in golf while working as an engineer in St. Louis, United States. He then taught the sport to his son, who was 11 years old.
