1. Born in Cali, Colombia, Yung Filly moved to the United Kingdom as a refugee, in his childhood. He primarily grew up in Ladywell, a locale in the London Borough of Lewisham.
2. In 2018, he hosted a TV show called Hot Property on BBC Three, a British free-to-air public broadcast TV channel owned and operated by the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), the national broadcaster of the United Kingdom and the world’s oldest national broadcaster. A year later, in 2019, he hosted another TV show on BBC Three called Don’t Scream.
3. He participated in the 2020 edition of Soccer Aid (a British annual (formerly biennial) charity event that has raised more than £35 million in aid of UNICEF UK). Representing England, he scored the equalizing goal in a 1-1 draw against a World XI squad but his team lost by a 4-3 margin in the penalty shootout. Both teams consisted of a mixture of celebrities and current and former professional soccer stars. The match was initially scheduled to be played in June 2020 but the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic meant that it was rescheduled to September 2020 and played behind closed doors.
4. He is an ardent supporter of the top-tier English professional soccer club Crystal Palace F.C. which is based in Selhurst in the Borough of Croydon, South London.
