ZAC Efron has let fans know he’s in good shape after suffering a scary swimming pool accident while vacationing in Ibiza, Spain.
The High School Musical actor was rushed to the hospital on Friday night after he was found floating in a pool.
Zac, 36, offered a simple, assuring update to his followers on Instagram on Sunday.
He posted an Instagram Story where he was on a patio deck lifting what looked like heavy weights.
The actor looked at peace as he lied on an exercise ball, shirtless and in a bathing suit for the workout, with his eyes closed.
“Happy and healthy – thanks for the well wishes,” he wrote over the sunny snap.
‘IN DISTRESS’
Zac was taken to the hospital after a brief scare two days earlier.
Two villa employees found the star inside a swimming pool and pulled him out of the water.
A rep told TMZ that he was taken to the hospital “as a precaution” after a “minor swimming incident.”
The Iron Claw star was reportedly pulled from a pool by the workers who said they found him “in distress.”
The rep didn’t reveal exact details about what happened but did share that Efron is “doing fine” following the scare.
The rep also didn’t elaborate on what caused him to be in distress in the pool.

Zac was released from the hospital on Saturday morning.
A day earlier, the movie star hit the stage with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix during his performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza, a beach venue at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel.
“Like every week, Martin Garrix delivered an exceptional performance that left us all in awe,” read a post on the venue’s Instagram page. “To top it off, Zac Efron joined him on stage during ‘Smile.’”
Zac has been photographed all over Europe during the past month, including Ibiza, St. Tropez, Mykonos, and Paris.
The actor has been taking some time off after releasing numerous films, including Ricky Stanicky, Iron Claw, and A Family Affair.
He’s also preparing to star in the Three Men and a Baby reboot in pre-production.
WHO’S THAT?
Zac’s summer vacation comes shortly after his latest movie, A Family Affair, was released on Netflix last month.
While doing press before the movie’s release, many fans called him out for having a completely different appearance.
It’s no secret that Zac has looked unrecognizable in the past few years, especially around his jaw, and in the comments under videos of his press tour fans didn’t let up.
“Plastic surgery and aging … oh, but smoking, probably. They can’t fool us,” one person wrote.
“What happened to your face Zac?” asked a second.
Others defended Zac, noting that the actor underwent major surgery on his face after getting into an accident years ago.
In a 2022 cover story for Men’s Health, Zac revealed that he shattered his jaw while running in his house with socks on, adding that he slipped and hit the corner of a fountain.
When he woke up after passing out, he realized that his chin bone was “hanging off” his face.
The actor claimed that his masseter muscles “compensated” for his injury, growing in size because of it.
Zac previously denied receiving any plastic surgery after online critics questioned his altered appearance.
