Jackie Lukas, a News 12 Long Island anchor and reporter, left the station on Friday as part of a newsroom restructure, according to owner Altice.
On social media, veteran anchor Jackie Lukas, sports anchor Jamie Stuart, and reporters Christine Insinga and Shari Einhorn announced their resignation.
Erin Smyth, a News 12 spokesperson, declined to identify the people involved.
Lukas had been News 12’s Saturday morning anchor since 2006, as well as a general assignment reporter.

Altice, the station’s owner, announced Jackie Lukas’ restructuring, and Lukas quit the channel following the reorganization.
Altice announced the restructure internally in early November when it informed employees that are expected to cut additional part-time roles as well as a sports anchor position.
It was announced that the part-time employment would be converted to two full-time positions.

Lukas enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, Joseph, Aubrey, and Lukas.
