Speaking at Prime Minister’s Questions, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced 24-hour vaccination services are being set out “in due course”. The fight against Covid is truly underway. Health Secretary Matt Hancock said: “Pharmacies sit at the heart of local communities – providing convenient places for those that are eligible to get their jab.” Boots in Halifax, and Superdrug in Guildford, will be among the first six sites to administer the jab.
The push for vaccination is involving even more help from the likes of Asda and Easyjet.
On Wednesday, January 13, Asda announced it had been given the green light for its pharmacy staff to administer the Pfizer-BioNTech jab at its Birmingham site.

It’s reported by the Daily Mail that the Birmingham Asda vaccination site will operate from a former clothing section of the grocery store.
