A drink driver doing 93mph on a residential road lost control and hurtled over a roundabout and into a house in horrifying dash-cam footage.
James Reade, 47, was driving his Volkswagen Scirocco more than three-times the speed limit in Poole, Dorset, when he careened into a terraced property.
The occupant of the house, who was in at the time, was not injured.
Reade fled the scene and was later found by police reeking of alcohol. A blood test found he was over the legal limit.
He was jailed for six months for dangerous driving and drink driving in Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday.
A judge also disqualified him from driving for two years and six months.
In the footage leading up to his accident on November 17, 2019, Reade is seen speeding along a 30mph road at 93mph.
He then approaches a junction and – when he fails to slow down enough – his car clips a traffic island. At this point, the footage cuts out.
The vehicle then hurtles into the property. Pictures taken at the scene show the car’s bonnet destroyed after it hit a brick wall below a window.

Reade fled from his car and was later arrested smelling of alcohol.
A blood alcohol test carried out two and a half hours later revealed he had 86 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood – six milligrams above the 80mg legal limit.
Reade first left an address in Bournemouth at about 7.20am. The crash happened at 8.40am.

Reade stopped for a drive-thru McDonald’s during this time. He returned to the road and was driving with a misted-up windscreen which limited his visibility.
Police Constable Dave Cotterill, of the Dorset Police traffic unit, said: ‘James Reade’s driving was extremely reckless and it is fortunate that nobody was seriously hurt by his actions.
‘We are committed to tackling drink drivers who present a risk to other road users and this case is an example of the dangers that can be posed by driving the morning after consuming alcohol, when you can still be over the limit and your judgement and reactions remain severely impaired.’
