KFC has delighted fans by revealing how to make an indulgent chicken and cheese toastie using items from its menu.
The chicken chain, which has reopened more than 500 restaurants for delivery amid the coronavirus pandemic, shared how to create a Hunters Chicken toastie using their mini fillets at home.
In the recipe, posted to Facebook, the fast food giant says customers need to order three original recipe mini fillets and a pot of BBQ sauce.
Then they can toast up a sandwich using bacon, cheese, bread and butter to create the indulgent dish at home.
Fans were thrilled by the easy recipe, and it was long before they tagged their friends and said they were going to try it at home.
‘Something to try’ wrote one, while a second commented: ‘Acc looks fire.’
A third added: ‘We’ll have to try that!’ while a fourth penned: ‘I’m in love.’

It comes after the Australian branch of the fast food giant shared a simple recipe to create the ultimate popcorn chicken nachos at home.
The easy-to-follow ‘poppin’ nachos’ recipe takes less than 10 minutes to prepare in just four simple steps.

All you’ll need are KFC’s Popcorn Chicken, tortilla chips, kidney beans, tomato salsa, red onion, cheese, guacamole and jalapenos.

To prepare the meal, simply layer up the corn chips in a baking tray or an ovenproof dish, topped with popcorn chicken, kidney beans and cheese.
Bake in a fan-forced oven at 200 degrees for five minutes or until cheese is melted.
To serve, top the dish with guacamole and salsa, and garnish with onion and jalapenos.
The ‘genius’ recipe was shared on social media on Sunday evening, and has since been viewed more than 30,000 times.
KFC temporarily closed when at the announcement on the lockdown in March, but has now reopened more than half of it’s restaurants in the UK.
