A super slimmer has revealed how he dropped 7st in a year – without setting foot in a gym.
Simon, 35, from Fredericia, Denmark, decided to make a drastic change to his body, fearing that he’d die prematurely if he didn’t make a change.
After doing some online research, he set himself strict but simple rules which he could stick too, including eating little to no red meat, and cutting out sugar, processed foods and alcohol.
Simon started his journey in December 2020, weighing 19st 3lb, and ended the year at 12st.

The 35-year-old (pictured after losing 7st) created his own diet plan after doing some research online
Simon ditched breakfast, sugar, processed foods and alcohol, and drastically reduced his red meat intake to lose weight
In addition to the rules, he also fasted every day, which he claims had the most impact, especially in the beginning.
But despite his drastic weight loss Simon achieved his goal without setting foot in a gym.
He said: ‘I would recommend taking a photo every day, weigh yourself every morning, keep your rules simple and realise that your weight can fluctuate day to day so don’t be discouraged.
‘Dieting is definitely the most impactful. If you are not eating right then you won’t lose weight, no matter how much you exercise.
The Dane, who weighed himself every day while dieting, has advised other slimmers ‘not to be discourages’ if their weight fluctuates on a daily basis
Before losing weight (pictured), Simon says he struggled with every day activities like walking upstairs and playing with his son

The star slimmer (pictured pre-weight loss) revealed that he had tried to lose weight in the past, but would get demotivated, so this time he made sure to document his progress
‘Once I got into the groove and started seeing results I haven’t looked back.
‘I probably wouldn’t have been able to keep going if it wasn’t for the support from my wife Johanna, 38.

The 35-year-old, who has managed to maintain his massive loss for a year, says his biggest dietary changes are reducing his portion sizes, sugar intake, and takeaways
‘I want to make sure I documented my progress; I knew from previous attempts I get demotivated at different times; the goal was to turn it into a movie by the end of the year.
Before Simon’s weight loss journey he struggled to complete day to day tasks such as walking upstairs and playing with his son around the house.
He added: ‘I hated looking at pictures of myself, hated looking at myself in the mirror. Looking at me from the outside I looked like a failure.
But since losing 7st he said: ‘Having lost all this weight I look like I feel on the inside, I feel a lot more comfortable approaching people because I don’t have to feel like I have to make up for being fat’
Simon now looks unrecognisable thanks to his weight loss and has managed to maintain his weight for the last 12 months.
He said: ‘The biggest thing wrong with my diet was the huge portions, no regard for calorie intake, takeaway too often and sugary snacks.
‘I know skip breakfast most days and eat the same thing for lunch every day: 300-400 grams of cucumber and carrots, 2 chicken fillets and 3 homemade rye bread.
‘For dinner, I have light home-cooked meals with lean meat or fish, and I usually save on carbs, as for snacks I eat an apple or a pear between lunch and dinner as well as a protein shake around 5 pm.
‘The best thing about the weight loss for me is being able to be a good role model for my son.’
