Marks & Spencer has delighted fans by launching a special Hot Cross Bun Yumnut for Easter.
The upmarket British retailer took to Instagram this week to share a picture of the dessert ‘tri-brid’- a mix of a doughnut, yum yum and hot cross bun, which is on sale in shops across the UK for £1.50 each or £4 for a pack of three.
Combining a mixed spice fondant topping, including the classic Easter flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, crossed with white fondant icing and finished with moreish milk chocolate chips – the indulgent treat is sure to wow anyone with a sweet tooth at Easter.

The bakery-made treat is created using M&S’s unique butter-enriched yum yum recipe which includes a minimum 18- hour dough resting time coupled with 48 laminations to give it a light texture.
It’s then deep-fried and covered in the classic sweet sugar glaze, doughnut style, before being beautifully decorated.
Marks & Spencer’s introduced Yumnuts™ in early 2020, and have sold more than seven million so far.
They say their latest product ‘was a no-brainer’ as customers’ love a bakery fusion and love the humble yum yum and doughnut even more’.
The supermarket currently has six flavours in the range – including Raspberry Royal, Billionaires, and the trusty Plain Jane.

Fans were delighted with the new dessert with many saying they were going to rush to M&S to buy a bite.
‘I don’t know what this is but I want it,’ said one.
‘Beautiful,’ added another.

The ‘Christmassy’ bakes were posted by M&S on Twitter in November, who said: ‘Who wants a bite of Santa’s Yumnut’?
It comes after the supermarket raised eyebrows across the world at Christmas when they released ‘Santa’s Yumnut’ in a series of social media posts filled with innuendo.
Shoppers claim their tweet about the new festive yum-yum donut hybrid is laced with innuendo, after the retailer invited customers to take ‘a bite of Santa’s Yumnut’.
The ‘Christmassy’ bakes were posted by M&S on Twitter in November, with the caption: ‘Who wants a bite of Santa’s Yumnut’?
‘Our yum yum-doughnut hybrids have been given a Christmassy makeover, with delicious flaky pastry layers and a sweet Santa’s belt topping. Find them in our in store bakery.’
