There are many fans who follow Emily Riedel, so when she did not appear in season 14 of Bering Sea Gold, they went crazy because they were worried for their favorite miner. They wanted to find out what had happened to her.
After many speculations, Emily clarified through her YouTube channel that she had a Covid -19, and after recovery, she went for ice-mining. Still, she also had severe chest pain and other difficulties, so she decided to take a break that season and focus on her recovery.
Thus, she took a break from ice-mining and decided to go for summer mining. Emily also told her fans that she is fine and would appear in the next season of Bearin Sea Gold. After hearing from herself, her fans are relieved and are waiting to see her in the 15th season of the show.

Emily Riedel’s husband is Alex Trokey. Emily met Alex through her brother. She kept her relationship secret, but in 2021, she announced about her boyfriend, and soon after that, they tied the knot with each other.
She says that her brother set up and met each other amid the Covid pandemic. Soon after meeting each other, they found out they were right for each other.
Much information about Alex is not available to the public, but it is known that he worked in consulting and sealed in Washington and Chicago.
He has moved to Chicago for her wife. He has a twin sister named Katie and a younger sister whose name is also Emily, like his wife.
