                                      Beto O Rourke Biography

Who is Beto O Rourke ?

Beto O’Rourke walked out of a news conference on the Texas school shooting on Wednesday and was called a “sick son of a b****” by the city’s mayor after showing up to pester Republicans about the weapons reforms.

O’Rourke cried out after Texas Governor Greg Abbott blamed mental health for the shooting of 19 children and two teachers yesterday.

Echoing a speech given yesterday by Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy that went viral, O’Rourke walked up to the stage asking, ‘What are we doing?’

Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick immediately called it a ‘shame’.

Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin roared from the side of the stage: ‘He needs to get his ass out of here.’ Sir, he is out of place. Please leave this auditorium.

‘I can’t believe you sick son of a bitch, you would come to an event like this to turn it into a political issue. A**holes like you, get out of here.’

“Now is not the time to politicize pain and suffering,” said Dade Phelan, the speaker of the Texas House of Representatives afterward.

The governor had just finished a speech about the mental health condition in the Uvalde community, which he said was to blame for yesterday’s atrocity.

“Before coming here, we had a long discussion with law enforcement at all levels. I asked the sheriff and others an open question. I got the same response from both the sheriff and the mayor, “what’s the problem here?

‘They were direct and emphatic. They said we have a problem with mental health illnesses in this community.

“Then they explained the magnitude of the mental health challenges they face and the need for more mental health support in this region,” he said.

Abbott was about to hand the microphone over to Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick when O’Rourke, mimicking the words of the Connecticut Democrat. Chris Murphy on the Senate floor yesterday, he walked up to the stage and asked, ‘When are we going to do something?’

Patrick replied: ‘You are out of place and a disgrace,’ he said.

Abbott then went on to say that it has been legal for teenagers to buy rifles in Texas for 60 years, but school shootings have not happened for that long.

“What has changed is mental health,” he said.

“Anyone who shoots another person has a mental health problem. Period. We as a government need to find a way to address that mental health challenge and do something about it.’

Shooting

The gunman in yesterday’s shooting legally purchased two AR-15 rifles at a store three miles from his home last week after his 18th birthday.

He also purchased more than 300 rounds of ammunition to use in the attack.

The governor said Monday that there were no known signs of mental problems and that he had no criminal record.

It is unclear if he may have had a criminal record.

Before opening fire at Robb Elementary, the gunman shot his grandmother at his home. He hit her in the face but she survived and fled to a neighbor’s house where she called the police.

At the same time, the shooter stole his grandmother’s car and drove it to the elementary school.

He has no driving experience and crashed into a ditch near the school.

The police started shooting at him when he arrived at the school. He managed to enter and kill all 19 children and two teachers in a single classroom before he was shot dead by a border patrol agent.

Facebook

Before shooting her grandmother, he posted on Facebook that he planned to kill her.

‘The gunman was 18 years old and a high school dropout. The only information known in advance was posted by the gunman on Facebook approximately 30 minutes before arriving at the school. The first post was to the point of, “I’m going to shoot my grandma.”

‘The second post was “I shot my grandmother”.

“The third, less than 15 minutes before he got to school, was ‘I’m going to shoot up an elementary school,’” Abbott said.
