Two years later, she released the album “Esperanza” (2008), and the same year collaborated with the band Fourplay on their album “Energy”, singing the song “Prelude for Lovers”. In 2010, she released her third album – “Chamber Music Society” – that even reached the top position on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, so boosting her reputation, allowing her to win the Grammy Award for the Best New Artist at the beginning of 2011. In 2012, the album “Radio Music Society” was released, which reached tenth position on the ranking Billboard 200, and won the Grammy Award for the Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2013; up to date, it has been sold more than 130 million copies. Three songs on the album were recorded with the participation of Jack DeJohnette, Joe Lovano, Billy Hart and Lalah Hathaway, and it’s worth noting that the song” City of Roses” won the Thara Memory Award and the album won the Grammy Award for the Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist (s) 2013. In 2014, she participated as a guest, recording on the sixth album of Chiara Civello entitled “Songs”. Recently, Esperanza Spalding recorded her fifth studio album “Emily’s D + Evolution” (2016) under the label Concord Records.
