Jeff Hafley, the former head coach of the Boston College football team, is not only committed to his job but also to his family. He is happily married to his wife Gina and the father of two beautiful girls. Gina, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is his other half, and the Hafleys presently live in Boston, Massachusetts. Jeff was born and reared in Montvale, New Jersey, and played football as a wide receiver at Siena College, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in history in 2001. He continued his studies, earning a master’s degree from the University of Albany, SUNY in 2003. After his playing career, he tried his hand at coaching and spent time at institutions such as Worcester Polytechnic, Albany, Pittsburgh, and Rutgers.
In 2012, he was allowed to coach the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, followed by stops with the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers. Hafley eventually became the co-defensive coordinator at Ohio State, where he was recognized as a successful recruiter before being named head coach at Boston College in December 2019. On January 31, 2024, he was appointed as the Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator.

Gina is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and nothing is known about her past until she married Jeff Hafley. She did, however, formerly serve as a Marketing Director for Emily Ley. Her duties at the organization have changed to reflect the changes in her life.
During her tenure at Emily, she oversaw annual fundraising and events for her alma university, the University of Pittsburgh. It’s unclear if she’s still with the squad or not. Despite the uncertainties, Gina is known to be a dedicated mother to her children and a caring wife.
Married Life and Kids
Gina and Jeff’s love story started at the University of Pittsburgh when Jeff was asked to lecture. The spark between them is said to have been instantaneous, and they ultimately married in a private ceremony whose date was kept secret from the public. However, it is believed that they married around 2012 since Gina once posted a photo of them in their wedding attire on her Facebook page.
Their first daughter, Hope, was born in 2015. At eight years old, she is a bright and charming little girl. Three years later, they had their second daughter, Leah, who is now a vivacious and inquisitive five-year-old. Despite Jeff’s rigorous schedule, he always prioritizes his family and enjoys spending time together. Gina and her children also pay him frequent visits at work, where they show their support for him and his colleagues.
