Who is Tim Westwood ?
TIM Westwood has been hit by a new wave of accusations after a 14-year-old girl accused him of having s*x with her.
The former Radio 1 DJ was described as a “predator” by the girl, with nine other women accusing him of s*xual misconduct.Tim Westwood has been accused of assaulting women.
It comes after a series of women accused him of abusing his position in the music industry in April.
The teen, named Esther, claimed Westwood, then 30, had s*x with her multiple times since he was 14.
She told the BBC that she met the DJ at the Arch in Vauxhall in 1990.
Esther said he “didn’t seem surprised” when she told him how old he was and said he could still come to the club.
Recalling her alleged abuse, she said that Westwood had asked to meet her at Hammersmith station, where he picked her up in her car.
The DJ took her back to a flat and offered her a drink, which Esther refused, before he allegedly kissed her.
She added: “I was like, okay, I don’t have a problem with that. And then, it progressed from there. We had s*x.”
Esther said that Westwood continued to call her after the night and claimed that she “never” gave her consent.
She claimed that she broke off contact with Westwood when she turned 16 and described herself as “prey”. Esther’s accusations are featured in the new BBC News documentary, Hip Hop’s Open Secret: Tim Westwood, which airs tonight on BBC3.
The show also features testimonials from women, all under the age of 18 when they were allegedly attacked by the DJ.
None of the women have reported the alleged incidents to the police.
One, Lydia, said that she attempted to take her own life after becoming trapped in a controlling relationship.
The alleged victim, then 16, said the s*x was consensual, but added: “It didn’t feel like a healthy s*xual relationship because he was a grown man and I was a teenager.”
In April, the DJ was accused of trying to exploit seven women by “exhibiting and groping” them.

They discussed the alleged abuse between 1992 and 2017 to the BBC and The Guardian.
Victims
Westwood, 64, has vehemently denied the claims and none of his accusers are believed to have reported his allegations to police.
She resigned from her show on Capital Xtra in the wake of the claims.
The stories of her alleged victims previously appeared in the BBC Three documentary Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power.
One of them, who was 17 years old and a member of an R&B group when she met Westfield, claimed that he performed a s*xual act on her.
She recounted how the DJ, then in his 30s, had “absolute power” at the time.
Another of hers claimed that she was “frozen with fear” when the DJ allegedly assaulted her.
The celebrity is the son of former Anglican Bishop of Peterborough Bill Westwood.
He rose to fame hosting the first nationally broadcast rap show on UK radio since 1994.
Westwood won multiple MOBO Awards and hosted the UK version of Pimp My Ride.
In 1999, he was seriously injured in a drive-by shooting.
Statement
A statement from Westwood’s representative previously said: “In a career that has spanned 40 years, there has never been any complaint against him officially or unofficially.
“Tim Westwood strongly rejects all allegations of wrongdoing.”
