COUNTRY music icon Wynonna Judd has wowed fans in snaps from her birthday bash.
The new pics come after the Tell Me Why hitmaker caused major fan concern while performing on the season finale of American Idol.
On Thursday, Wynonna celebrated her 60th birthday and held a huge party earlier this week featuring famous country faces.
One Night Standard singer Ashley McBryde, 40, shared a picture of Wynonna’s party with the birthday girl all smiles.
Meanwhile, other artists including Jelly Roll, 39, Reba McEntire, 69, and Terri Clark, 55, also smiled in the photo.
Wynonna wore a plunging black top underneath a multi-colored jacket on top.
The singer left her long orange hair down and down her chest while having her makeup touched to perfection.
The country star captioned her photo, “A night out to celebrate the birthdays of our guiding light @wynonnajudd.
“It’s hard to get me to go out. But for friends like these I’d walk face first into a hurricane to tell them I love them.”
‘YOU NEVER AGE’
In a separate post shared on Wynonna’s Instagram account, she sat in a velvet chair wearing the same outfit she wore to her party where fans couldn’t get enough.
“Sixty and sexy,” one said.
Another wrote, “Happy birthday to an amazing human who NEVER AGES!”
“You look stunning,” stated a third.
“Amazing and beautiful,” someone else commented.
A fifth wrote, “You make 60 look so good!”
“You’re like a fine wine that gets better with time,” said another superfan.
Wynonna Judd’s past health issues
Wynonna has spoken openly about her past health issues.
In 2010, the country music icon opened up about her drastic 55-lb weight loss.
In March of that year, doctors found two blood clots in her lungs due to complications from surgery where she had to repair damage to her stomach muscles.
Wynonna was also involved in a scary car accident while traveling to perform at an event.
After that, she was “determined to live a healthier lifestyle.”
Wynonna participated in a brain state conditioning which can help patients not turn to food in stressful situations.
“My weight was a symptom and not the problem,” Wynonna told People.
“I used food to soothe and reward and I don’t do that anymore.”
Twelve years later in 2022, Wynonna canceled a performance due to an “extreme bout of vertigo.”
I am working so hard on my mental, physical and spiritual well-being,” she wrote in a video posted on Instagram. “I have a great team, and I’m really blessed and I’m broken, and I’m working really hard at self-care, which is not selfish; it’s sacred.”
In February 2023, she had to pause a concert performance because she was dizzy.
“I’m really dehydrated and I’m having a hard time, so hang on a second. This has never happened before,” she said.
She sat on a stool for the remainder of her setlist.
Later that year at the CMA awards, Wynonna caused fan concern after gripping Jelly Roll’s arm during their duo performance of his hit single, Need A Favor.
I’m just going to come clean with y’all. I was so freaking nervous,” she said on social media.
“I got out there, and I looked at Jelly Roll. I wanted it to be so good for him. I could cry right now, but I’m not going to because I’m such a fan of his and he asked me to sing, and I said, ‘Absolutely!’ I got out there, and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that’s the bottom line.”
FAN CONCERN
Last weekend, Wynonna performed with American Idol’s Top 6 contestant Emmy Russel during the season finale on May 20.
The two sang Coal Miner’s Daughter by Emmy’s grandmother, Loretta Lynn.
While performing, many viewers pointed out that Wynonna “didn’t move.”
On X, formerly Twitter, fans voiced their concerns.
“Wynonna Judd really didn’t move at all during her song. It was slightly disturbing,” one wrote.
A second viewer was convinced that she was hiding a health issue.
Despite the claims, Wynonna was all smiles at her 60th celebration.
