There aren’t many snacks that are as satisfying as homemade salsa and baked chips for dipping. But instead of noshing on a classic tomato-based salsa, shake up your snack routine by trying a SunGold Kiwi salsa and give your taste buds an unexpected twist along with a serious boost of vitamin C.

Makes 3 cups of salsa

You’ll Need

  • 5 Zespri SunGold Kiwis, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and finely diced
  • 1 small jalapeño, stemmed, seeded, and finely diced
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • Juice from ½ of a fresh lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. Serve with baked tortilla chips.
