Pork chops are a great source of protein. It’s also a very versatile piece of meat. You can grill it, pan-sear it, bake it, even air-fry it. There are also so many types of sauces that pair well with pork chops. A glaze, in particular, is cooked over the meat, caramelizing the sugar in it. The texture is sticky, so it attaches to the meat, creating this delicious coating with every bite you take.

For this particular recipe, you’ve got a classic maple syrup and brown sugar mix. Include some apple cider vinegar and Knob Creek Rye Whiskey, and you’ve got yourself a deliciously sweet and savory glaze to place on top of your pork chop. This dish is great for any time of year, and can make for a great comfort meal.
