How does Harrison Ford look so darn good at 80? Well, most importantly, he doesn’t stress about his age. Actor Boyd Holbrook, who stars alongside Ford in the upcoming “Indiana Jones 5” film, reveals (via Variety), “Harrison Ford is ripping and roaring. Age ain’t nothing but a number to this man.”

Ford maintains healthy food choices, works out, and leads a very active lifestyle—and it totally shows. He tells USA Today, “I’m healthy, I enjoy being active and fit. I’m aware of keeping my old (butt) in shape.”

Harrison Ford revamped his diet by eliminating meat and dairy, explaining to Ellen DeGeneres that he based his decision on the negative effects meat had on his body and the earth (via Us Weekly). He keeps a rigid diet of fish and lots of veggies, making self-care a priority. Ford credits the majority of his toned physique to what he refers to as “boring” meals—but healthy ones!

This star keeps a lifestyle fitting for Indiana Jones—one that’s very active. He works out “a bit,” enjoys bicycling, and plays tennis. The actor is also known to perform many of his own stunts for his roles, so he’s no stranger to intense training.

Ford’s “Indiana Jones 5” co-star, Mads Mikkelsen, reveals to The Hollywood Reporter just how in shape the 80-year-old icon really is. Mikkelsen says, “It was the first time I met him, and he’s an insanely powerful person. Not just as an actor, but physically. I remember the first day we were shooting, it was a night shoot, then we stopped at 5 a.m.—and then he got on his mountain bike and went biking for 50 kilometers [31 miles]. Harrison is a monster of a man, a very nice monster.”

Ford is also an advocate for a clean and healthy environment. As the Vice Chair of Conservation International’s Board of Directors, the actor has shared the importance of making science and nature a top priority (via TIME). Speaking in one of the nonprofit’s videos titled, “The Most Critical Action,” Ford says, “The necessary foundation of our lives is a vital healthy natural world—our source of clean water, food, and a stable climate. We’re watching that foundation crumble. Irresponsible human activity is limiting the ability of the natural world to provide what we need to survive.”
